Author Biography

Near the primary colonial city known as Baracoa, in the eastern region of Cuba; where the first rays of the sun radiate illuminating the peaceful face of the great sleeping caiman of the Martian poetry; there, in a healthy and welcoming environment, in a humble cradle, was born Atilano Guilarte Leyva, descendant of the ancestral colonizers of the Caribbean. Recognized for his profound humility and simplicity, as a renowned writer of the Christian literary genre, virtues that highly endorse his profession. Atilano spent his happy childhood and youth in his birthplace, and spent his adolescence and part of his youth in Santiago de Cuba where he completed his secondary studies. At the age of 22, he received the call of God to join the ranks of Christianity as a member of the Church Evangelical Gideon’s Band. At the age of 24, he dedicated his life as a Christian missionary of the same Church, attended the Preparatory School for Disciples of Christ in Playa de Baracoa, Habana, Cuba. Atilano began his studies at the National School of Theology of the same Church, where he graduated in 1986 and served as a professor of Biblical Introduction until 1989, when he left for the United States of America with his wife and children, at the request of the International Directorate of the Church in that country. Finally, after having retired from his ministerial functions, he studied at World Theological University Utmpr-Puerto Rico. Where he graduated with a Master in Theology. Maintaining his status as a member of his Church of origin, Atilano has wanted to leave a valuable legacy to humanity, through this important treaty of Biblical Instruction, in which he had worked intermittently for several years. Although initially, the edition was only in Spanish. He made every possible and honest effort to translate the book into English, especially with the aim of reaching English-speaking prisoners, by introducing both editions into the country's prisons.
